I've seen guys take like 2 year olds on the skidpan as long as they are in proper childseat I don't see any issues provided you take it easy

I am guessing BMW does not allow this type of thing if the car is still under motor plan?

I would love to come along, but am not willing to lose my motor plan and I don't think my insurance company covers me in the event of something going wrong

Call bmw, I've heard some insurance companies offer a daily tariff to cover your car, maybe motorplan does the same

For a track day the motor plan is not the biggest concern, it's insurance.
Normal insurance won't cover damage on a race track.
As far the motor plan goes, if you really are concerned take your plates off.

As for the skid pan, it's absolutely safe (unless you are an idiot). Go and enjoy.

Taking a kid in a baby seat shouldn't be an issue either, discuss with marshals and take it easy. Really can't see a problem with this.

No helmets necessary on skidpan. Very safe, lots of fun and little to no damage/wear on tyres.

sunday.., yay.., need to confirm if i can bring the little one along as well.

only problem would probably be the queues and time spent waiting to get onto the track and skidpan.

skidpan is normally quick even if a line. there is a time limit per run depending on line lenght.

Yes Spy,

By ford en mercedes se plek

(posting from phone...will translate tomorrow)
