I recently bought my wife a grey 2008 Z4 2.0. I must say I quite enjoy driving the car myself!

So recently I fitted a set of Original Z4 M wheels to it...what a difference in ride comfort! Those runflats on the stock wheels make the car ride much firmer...

I'll take some pics and post up here soon!

I too changed from runflats to normal tyres... What a difference in comfort...

Send those pics

:fencelook: Mine has allways had normal tires....and mine was last of the line, Must be because I have the mobility kit in the boot.

Correct, none of the M-cars had runflats.
Not sure about the current models, but the runflats dont have enough wall flex for the handling they required on the Z4M, so they went with normal.

Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about 2004 2.5 Z4 powersteering pump and fluid.

As per PM... BMW tells me its written on top of the reservoir lid what you must put in. :thumb:

Had a look and It's ZF fluid. Gonna change the filter and fluid, also replace all the clamps on the pipes.

Just want to know if someone knows why the pump would start making a noise when it gets hot? I've got a cideo of the noise but don't know how to load it

Any ideas?

Alister why you always bring the 320i to the runs :yuck:

lol as much a donkey as she is i love her so much, the comfort is unbelievable, i could do with a few extra horses though.. but an SC will sort that out quickly  the Z is not roadworthy atm so i dont drive her that often, also theres only two seats and most times i need more than 2 lol. im planning on starting work on the Z next year, entire new suspension respray and interior needs a lil refurb. i will bring her on the next run, hopefull ill put the new tyres by then. then at least i dont have to be at the tail end of the convoy :fencelook:

Unregistered or not dude she still looks good.

I wish I could also have a roadster  but for now my E36 is the one for me. :joy:

Good day Coisman

Do you know where I could get chf-11 power steering fluid. It chf-11 on my net reservoir. Could I just use ATF dex 3?

Looks like the noise on the power steering was only the dirty fluid. Changed the fluid 4 or 5 times and s couple of new pipes and we're ready to go.

Any drives for the weekend in limpopo or mpumalanga?

Thanks to all the help in the forum. Really appreciate it :)

Hi guys,

looking buying a 08 z4 2.0i but it has been resprayed.
BMW says there was no accident damage on it, the owners(marketing company) just needed it to be white so in 09 they got it completely resprayed.

car has a few knocks, owner is sorting all out through forsdicks approved repair centre. only minor dents though.

still on motor plan till may and has 70k kms

selling price R175k!!!

worth it or not?

100 percent agree with you on the M6

I think all bmws are heavy. I had a 116 f21 from the dealership to test drive for like two weeks and that thing aint so light at all. Average 11l to 100km.

Need help please guys. Our lovely roads and the potholes just forced me to think about replacing my tyres. Got Continental conti sport contact 3 on there now.

Any ideas what would be a good tyre for perfomance and grip. Want to be save at 240km/h?

Would appreciate help
