Alister why you always bring the 320i to the runs :yuck:

lol as much a donkey as she is i love her so much, the comfort is unbelievable, i could do with a few extra horses though.. but an SC will sort that out quickly  the Z is not roadworthy atm so i dont drive her that often, also theres only two seats and most times i need more than 2 lol. im planning on starting work on the Z next year, entire new suspension respray and interior needs a lil refurb. i will bring her on the next run, hopefull ill put the new tyres by then. then at least i dont have to be at the tail end of the convoy :fencelook:

maybe bringing an unregistered car on the run is not such a bad idea... you can go infront :)

lol the last time i got pulled over the cop just wanted to have a look at the car, he didnt notice the expired liscence disc. :flyfun:

:argh: wot wrong with the zed 4 ?

its actually quite sad, after motorplan the car wasnt really cared for, so when i took ownership i planned on restoring it to its former glory. but alas, i been too busy and had too many things to put first. it was a tough year for me. anyways.. sorry for the sad story.. list of things to do shocks, springs, new rims n tyres, control arm bushes, other suspension parts (rubbers bushes mountings n stuff), small dent removal + respray, interior plastic bits repair. doesnt sound like much but thats gonna cost me quite a bit to do, because i want to do it properly. luckily the motor/gbox is sound and the roof has no problems.

I am seriously considdering a Z4 as my next bmw. My baby's baloon payment is due in July, but I will have to re-finance that over a few more months, so ideally/hopefully early next year. :joy:
I need it for work and back, visiting friends, shopping on my own, for the other times I will still have my E46 if the family wants to come along.
My kids are 13 and 11, well 14 and 12 because their birthdays are close, and my mom is staying with us now, so when they feel like it, then me and mommy can go out alone, thus making the Z4 a nice choice for me. :dunno:

So my question is, would I be happy with the 2.5s one, or would you guys prefer the 3.0 or 3.5?? Just remember I am not Sol Kerzner, just a spietkop, so the $$$ factor does apply.

I drove both the 2.5 and the 3.0 and I though the 2.5 was a bit PAP. The 3.0 is actually very nice, I almost bought it.

But then I drove the M and I changed my mind.

IMHO the 3.0 is a very cool car if you don't suffer from the incurable disease of Encephalitis M-itis.

:ty: Cyber. At a dealership here in Pretoria they have a white Z4, the new shape, with the 2.5 engine. Maybe I must start testdriving every one I can find.

When you do here's a cute trick you can try - when you drive and you get to a place that you would usually brake (like a roundabout or sharp turn), just don't. Just turn the wheel. The car will just go through the turn without drama, like a go-kart. If you have a passenger they will usually shit themselves a little).

I did that when I drove the 335i 2 door at Leo Haese
Poor car salesman nearly shat himself when I took the clover onramp at N1/N4 split. :biglol:
