Ok so I took the plunge…
Did the stripe thing on my 2003 Roadster

I know it's not everyone's taste but I think I might just get away with this.…

Oh and I added a home made Forum Sticker… I hope this doesn't offend anyone.

Working on it.
In the meantime going to spray these ones chrome black.

Going to have the mirrors done in carbon wrap.

Andy I'm really chuffed with the way it turned out. The grey stripes actually have a metallic finish to them.
As far as the go faster stripes are concerned it bollocks. Car still goes the same speed. Think I put the stripes on back to front.

On a Ford Focus ST, stripes add about 20Kw. You should get your car on a dyno to be sure. :fencelook:

Yes, INDEED I would have STILL said his car looks really nice!!
Seriously... look at my car!!
BMW even puts stripes on the car if you ask them, called Motorsport edition. The only difference is the stripes are off center, like mine, and not in the middle.

So yea, I like how the car looks. :thumb:

I aware of the M Performance stripes ( m colours or the greyish one ) but as dealers in the EU don't use Schnitzer a a preferred tuner, you won't get dealers striping it with Schnitzer stripes .
They won't stripe you car with Alpina stripes either if you don't have a specific level of tuning on you car either .
So , SA dealerships are unique in that way.
