Z4///M Roadster Leather Re-dye

So, some of you may know that my M Roadster is up for sale BUT only at the right price. At this stage I'm actually thinking I shouldn't sell her. The steering and driver side bolster was something that always bothered me so I decided to have them refurbed. After seeing the end result I was so impressed that I had both seats re-dyed as well as the steering and gear knob. Redid the steering plastics as well. The results are astonishing and cannot be captured in pictures. I did snap a few anyway. The finish is almost OEM again. Just the right amount of matt. My seats were in pretty good condition but I could never get that original matt back. This solved that and gave them a great supple feeling.

Unfortunately I removed my M badge from the steering which I believe you can't purchase:blueCry:
Will have to put it back with the small chip or use a rim M badge.

Thanks for reading guys.

Do you have 'before & after's of the side bolsters?

Not the best pics but here you go. Zoom in to get a better idea:

Work was done by Praleen from Plastic Restoration and Leather Repairs. Would highly recommend him. A meticulous guy that understands a fanatics request.
He's BMW approved and does their leather and plastic Warranty work as well.

Hi Ricky,

Praleen is usually at dealerships in the JHB regions but he did mine at my place. Think it would be best to contact him and discuss.

Cheers,
Nev

We're here in Cape Town. I'm looking for someone in CT that can do that quality of work.

Awesome outcome - what does it cost to have it done?

I had 2 cars done so was a package but if I had to estimate I would say R2000. That's for both seats, steering, gearknob and a small scuff I had on the the knee rest alongside the transmission.

I used a rim m badge for my steering wheel. Fits well, probably what Bmw use any way.

Seats look good dude.

How on earth did he re-dye the steering wheel and preserve the M Tri-colour stitching.. ?
