I think the csl and acs badges are too much on the rear of the car, remove the roof wrap, nice BMW oem rim, many options, I've stuck with standard, cars ride is firm enough, and your car is nigh on perfect:=):

I like the ac badge as that is what it's meant to have. Also a fan of the roof wrap, think it adds something without being vulgar. The ac badges on the side def need to go at some point. Trying to find oem rims at a reasonable price is difficult though.

Howzit all

Know there are some engine gurus here so wanted to pick your brains quickly. This evening my Z4M started idling very strangely. The needle bounces when stationary and on acceleration the car stutters somewhat. Now I connected my OBD2 device to the car and there were faults registering around problematic O2 readings, specifically
  • Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean bank1
  • O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Rich bank1 Sensor1
  • O2 Sensor Out of Range During Deceleration bank1 Sensor1

There were also a bunch pending around misfires, but that would make sense considering the above list.

Now I've thought it could be due to rubbish fuel, but she's only done this with 25% tank left and its the same station I always use, plus I've only ever filled with 95 octane.

Could this be a simple spark plug / O2 sensor problem, or is it likely to be more serious? I'm worried that driving her will cause damage to the motor so any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!

Had a similar issue with my car when I got it.
It would stall when I got to the traffic lights, jerky on pull off, idling was erratic, etc
Helderberg had my car for a bit to resolve it and finally did the shims and valve clearances for me
Ever since then the car has been smooth as silk and even felt a bit more powerful as well
I did not have a OBD scanner so don't know what, if any faults, it recorded before

If your car has been de-catted,you should get 02 sensor errors

Yeah but those wouldn't show up as being on bank1 surely? I'd imagine they would show which cat had an error?

Love the 156 GTA.. :coolShake:

Thanks! That was at the top of the Long Tom Pass. Rather frustrating on the day as the pass is in really good condition but you couldnt see to make use of it!
