Z4 M Coupe ACS

Right so it's time for my Z4M Coupe ACS to have a proper thread I think!

Gave her a proper clean and polish on Sunday, which I believe is always a good way to get to know a new car. Took some pics below just in my complex as the light was fading, so apologies for the rubbish background! Plenty of time for better ones though :)

First "mod" will be going onto GP plates this week but it's also given me some time to compile a list of things I want to do to her, so far this is what I'm thinking.
  1. Return boot interior to standard
  2. Paint Protection (probably VPS?)
  3. 18" Wheels
  4. Remove ACS and CSL badges? Still undecided on this one...
  5. Proper service and fix left pipe hanging - not sure if I should get the engine looked at?
  6. ACS Spoiler!! (When I have saved my pennies...)

Ideas and comments always welcome!

[*]Return boot interior to standard - Yes
[*]Paint Protection (probably VPS?)- Yes, or just stick genuine clear Laminex over the lights. A bumper respray is much cheaper than VPS
[*]18" Wheels- Yes
[*]Remove ACS and CSL badges? Still undecided on this one... - Yes, most definitely. They would have been gone 5 minutes after I received the car, if it was mine:rollsmile:
[*]Proper service and fix left pipe hanging - Yes - not sure if I should get the engine looked at? At that mileage, I really dont think there is anything to look at. Just give it an oil service and be done with it
[*]ACS Spoiler!! (When I have saved my pennies...)- No
[/list]

First of all, congratulations on a very good car. And the photography is excellent:thumbsup:

See the comments next to your questions:)

Congrats once again, looks a belter!

What will you be doing with the rims etc if you revert to 18's? Any idea of off-sets and what they potentially would fit model wise?

Definitely gonna sell them hey. Not sure about the stats except that they'll be 5/120s.
Will find out and let you know.

Absolutely epic car bud!!:praise: congrats! And such a clean example!! If it were me, I'd change the rims as you have said, get the AC Schitzer exhaust tail pipes sitting nice and snug, remove just the csl badge and take the wrap off the roof. Other than that, the car is perfect!

:clapper:

Perhaps consider getting a shorter aerial.
I've replaced my e89 Z4's with this one off of a Yaris :fencelook:
Perfect fit and color match to the base attached to the car and looked a bit better (IMHO of course; one of those personal preference things I suppose) without any perceivable loss in radio signal.

Shows compatibility with E85, E86 and E89 (among others).
I had the Yaris aerial lying around (Had a Yaris in the company fleet and discovered the missing aerial and bought a new one. Turned out one of the employees took it off before taking the car through a car wash and forgot to put it back on) so I used that instead.
