Z3 M Coupe ride height

Hi guys

After changing every single rubber in the rear suspension, including replacing the shocks with Bilsteins of my M Coupe, I'm left with one small problem:

The ride height on the left rear is a bit higher than the right rear.
Could it be that I could have installed the spring the left upside-down? :fencelook:

Other than this the car

Can someone with a Z3 M Coupe please check if the ride height of the left and right rear are equal.

Thanks in advance.

My M is level…. In its original state 42,000K in the clock.

You are still running the original springs right, sagging possibly?

I’ll be completing my suspension upgrade soon; this will include H&R springs, so I’ll check if there are any funnies.

All BMWs in SA are slightly lower on the right hand side.

No one really notices or cares

Herman - You just have not measured it yet

:ty: So no need to worry

Now that you say it, I remember my e46 was a bit lower to the right.

You’re probably right, I’ve just not noticed it before. Not too obvious I guess.
