Mine is low not because I am scared of putting km's on it. I will never sell it. I simply don't get the time.

Plus it makes it that much more rewarding the few opportunities I get to be behind the wheel.

hey guys,

1999 165km's :fencelook:

I dnt see the point of owning this car and keeping it locked up in the garage only to be driven a couple of km's a month, its just to much fun and the attention is nice to!!!!!!.... no offence to anyone but it aint a ferrari, mine is still in a immaculate condition after so many km's...

cheers

I could not agree with you more!! My days when I am home are spent looking for excuses to go for a drive.

Every chance i get i drive mine!!!!! :joy: you need to knw the car u drive, specially these ones as they can be very tail happy if u dnt hav TC like the 01/02 models....

I also look for any excuse to go for a drive, but due to where I live- need to choose the right roads! The reason my one has low mileage is that the previous owner only did 13 000km in 8 years. Was his baby- never left out in the sun, lived in doors and driven for special occasions but most importantly- warmed up before given stick!

What have you gents done to your cars? Anyone done the braided clutch hose yet? Guys also rave about the AMSOIL transmission oil... anyone try it?

Holy crap! 13 000 is min!!!!!!... how long hav u had it for? My car is still pretty much stock only got a BMC flat filter and ACS backbox. Iv heard about the braided clutch hose on the z3mcoupe forum but on some cars it makes the clutch heavier??? nt sure..... really wanna do CAI but to many guys say it aint worth it.... what about urs?

I am feeling that a braided clutch hose is a must. I am really feeling the clutch delay valve. You can delete that with a new braided hose. When the clutch needs replacing that will all get done. I am tempted by the sports switch that was in the E46 M3. The S54 has the plugs, I have seen a really neat installation that replaced the cigarette lighter with the sports switch.

Not sure how much gain you would get from a CAI. The filter box is already shielded from the rest of the engine bay.

I would love a CSL airbox... :inlove: Just for the sound.
Big $$$$$$ though:cry:

Two MCoupes in one place in SA? !! That would be like messing with the space time continuum... might result in a wormhole and the whole universe will end.

Or it would be a really nice photo op:thumbs:

I have yet to see another mcoupe... while driving my mcoupe.

talking about a CSL airbox...I remember wanting to order one for my E46 M3 and it was around R12k from BMW....but they wouldnt allow me to fit it without invalidating the motorplan...I too love that sound

Hi Guys,

I am very new to the forum. Drive a silver 2000 Model M Coupe, stock standard, 99 700 kms.

When Jeremy Clarkson tested the M coupe he said one word: "perfection". I agree.

There's another guy 4 km away who owns my car's twin.

Clarkson qualified perfection by saying: "If you are a hooligan its perfection!!"

Ex MCoupe owner (twice). This is the last one i owned. Was tickled by RGM Motorsport. I miss this one sooooo bad. New owner wrote it off shortly after buying it.

One of those irreplaceable cars.
