Hi,

My Z3 is chowing it rear tyres on the inside, RH side is very bad. Wheel alignment does not seem to resolved it

Anyone else experiencing the same issues? Any advice?

Bmws are known for wearing on the inner of tyres more. Do you have your alignment printout? Maybe have your suspension checked if it's more on the one side.

sounds like a worn rear trailing arm bush

The car's handling is also a little twitchy/nervous (breaking away suddenly when accellarating in a RH corner). I have an appointment with a suspension workshop on monday.

Make sure that you first make an appointment with your bank manager :)

Likely your rear suspension require bushes

Had 2 new tyres fitted and wheel alignment checked this morning.

Rear tyres camber are out but there is no adjustment on Z3 rear axle/wheels. No worn bushes either.

The shopowner suggested re-tensioning of the coil springs as that seems to reduce the camber problem. Any ideas on this?

There's no adjustments on the rear. You need to replace all the rubbers in rear suspension, I went through the same exercise last year: Speak to Shaun@Axis for all the parts you need.

The whole rear sub-frame will have to be removed to access all the bushes. The guys at the alignment place probably will not know about the bushes.

I can get you Powerflex polyurethane bushes that come with a lifetime warranty or Meyle heavy duty rubber bushes

Powerflex also make a camber adjustable type

I would suggest you also get 4,30,6(can be replaced later),30 and new shocks. Removing the trim panels at the back, is not fun.

I don't remember since I used a mixture of Lemforder and Meyle HD.
