Sitting at Lyndhurst BMW right now waiting for the shuttle service to take my ass back home...

Now this is my very first time at a BMW dealership for a 'service' and one thing that's apparent is that these service consultants really do have their nose in the air

Really very willing to help... and some are really easy on the eye too

Dealt with Angeline, highly recommended! (i appreciate good service)

Anyone else deal with Lyndhurst - your experiences?

We use them as they less than 1km from our house..

We have bad service with them.. usually takes 4 or 5 times returning the car before they actually fix the problem...

Our other E46 went in 5 times for a oil leak.. We then sold the car, and the dealer we sold it through (non bmw dealer, client of my dad) had to take it back to get the oil leak fixed again.. but now motorplan had expired and they gave him a BS story of it now being another oil leak, not the same one

I'll let you know when i pick the car up later...
Thankfully, i aint paying for it! (2nd hand dealership i bought it from is)

And luckily i checked if the Motorplan was transfered to my name - IT WASN'T!

Never deal with Inspectar Edenvale (Trading as Damar Motors)

Thats about the price they Quoted my dad.. & told him to pay.. He told them to jump & shove it as it should be covered by motorplan as both keys were doing the same thing of only working if you hold it against the car when pushing the buttons..

So now the "new" one after visiting twice to get it coded still only works from like 30cm away from the car

I tend to stay away from the dealers, but dealt with Lyndhurst a few times in the past when i was still naive and stupid and partly because my office used to be around the corner from them, i feel they are a bit pricey but service was good all the times ive been there they even sent me status reports while my car was with them.

**Update**

Got my car back yesterday...

Requested 2 things:
1. Front indicator light out and to be replaced. (NOT DONE)
2. Supply Spare key (IN THE PROCESS AND PROMISED BY NEXT WED)

Have my car the entire day and not even washed :nonono:

I've received way better service from Renault!
