new member around here..Hi to all! but time for my JCW to go =(

Ill leave some pics of my beloved friend...

Its a 2009 JCW and thanks to mini melrose it has a brand new engine with 5000kms already! (had major issues with the time chain tensioner)

Its quite the basic model.. just for a Evolve Automotive UK remap and a ITG panel air filter.

Have the some forge material to fit.. however never fitted it due to motorplan! =(

Well, i still have the car until i find the right owner that will take good care of it...

Sooo...its not a good bye =)

Pitty i never had a chance to fit all the forge etuff i have for it, would of really wanted to see how it would go...

The biggest problem i have is always finding a good petrol station...due to bad fuel in SA this car suffers a lot, specially if they dont do maintenance in their tanks.. It already had 4 fuel pumps fitter and i only put 95...

Im asking 250k for it and for that price it will include forge intercooler, the whole set of forge silicone pipes, and forge dump valve ( not the noisy one) with some other extras i purchased aside...

If it has the new motor then you are a very lucky man, as it has more power than the old JCW motor (MINI dont tell you this though) and Vanos.

Thats a good price.

So ive heard... But mini anounces 155 kws and i know some models came with a bit more extra. At least what ive read about in minitorque.

These past 7 months i had major problems with the engine, thats why it was replaced, and to not help i had negligence issues with melrose, but all sorted out...

Im sad to let it go... And its really hard every time i put in on asverts... Love the drive on it, and not so many cars give me the same smile!

Can you confirm the spec for me?

I see Chilli Pack, Twin Sunroof... Does it have uprated sound and leather?

Its the chili pack, so this comes with the light package, panoramic roof, bi-xenon automatic ac. Has leather seats, unfortunatly not the harmon kardon sound, just the normal boost radio. Has an armrest too.
Then it has the parrot 9100ki kit, this has an usb, aux and ipod connection and is controlles by the kit itself.
Besides these spotlights i have 2 extra (just in case).
Then its the evolve remap, itg panel filter all forge extras.
Ill post some inside pics of the car.

And its maintained with autoglym products, has a autoglym paint protection with the certificate, and nobodys ever eaten inside the car, not even me! :roflol:

Mate, thats an excellent spec! Harmon Kardon wasnt around then I dont think but the standard system is good enough already.

In the begining i was planing an upgrade to a renault megane rs cup, but i didnt find a demo with xenon, and i was not going to spend 400k for a car without xenon :(. Then i looked in to the coupe jcw but 400k for a mini is definatly a no-no, just to expensive.

So now, i just want to buy a smart fortwo passion and the rest will be to invest as i do not need a big car...

But out of all cars that has passed my hands, this is the one i am going to miss the most...it is definatly something special.

The passion with the little roof rocks, I am hunting for a forfour now.

The new models with new engines are fantastic, the economy is what does it for me.

I used to work MINI and begged merc down here to let me run Smart and instead they dropped the brand....

How awesome is the facelift interior? Love them!

Looks good! First wash! Ahaha

I never liked the forfour.. And it never was a hit overseas as there are better options. Last year i bought a fiat 500c for my gf, and i love that car..the new abarth 500 are something special too... And it does much better than the forfour on fuel consumption...if the diesel versions were out here would be much better...

Unfortunatly smart isnt big here, only big cars...:thumbdo:

The good thing of the passion is the turbo...and remapped its becomes in to a small beast

Agreed, the Forfour strangely enough is the reason Smart is still available in SA.

Was chatting to a mate at Merc who sold several 44's a week but no fortwo's due to their turbo issues etc on the original 450.

The Fiat 500 is an excellent little car, loved the 1.4 sport I drove.

Yes, the 450 did have many turbo problems.... Even the cdi models..

Also drove a roadster brabus and that is also something special! SA has a poor market of cars, not much variety on engines neither models... And its a pitty!

The one u drove has a mta gears, its a bit like the smart transmission, but faster...lol thats its only issue... And lacking a turbo...at least for joburg!
