With CCT HQ now in full swing, our first week in the shop has thus far been a busy one.
You may or may not have heard about our affiliation with Nasiol South Africa- a relatively new brand on the South African ceramic coating market. CCT have been appointed the official applicators in the Johannesburg region. Having done a few cars prior to this week, we decided that we've tried and tested the product a great deal, and so here we are...
This beast came into the shop in dire need of a detail. To add to that, she was to receive some extra paint treatment in the form of a Nasiol ZR53 ceramic coating.
Just a quick background on the Nasiol ZR53. ZR53:
- is a hydrophobic coating
- also has dust repelling properties
- adds a great shine
- has a hardness of 9H
The process for this particular vehicle was simple- a decontamination wash (including a claying step), a compounding step to remove the swirling, followed by a paint clean and finally application of the ZR53.
After the application, we allowed for sufficient time to set, and this morning we tied up all loose ends and here she was...
