Xenons swap

Has anyone done a xenon lights swap for a 135i , BMW quoted R50k for it :thumbdo: including new lci xenon headlights and ballasts plus new wiring. Can't I just find a set of second hand xenons and just pay BMW to wire the damn thing and make it work , only reason I'm considering this is because a retrofit will void mp , Ballito Autohaus made that pretty clear with me when I asked

BMW wont fit on a second hand headlamp to the car and still keep its motor plan ..
