Xcede Or Chip Logic?

Hey guys,i have an e46 M3 and just wanna know if any1 has either a chip logic or xcede performance chip in their M?which is better and produces more power?What would you recommend?Thanks!!

Its a matter of personal preference and research bud!
Have a look at this test by Exede:

The gains are clear for all to see.
I ran 13.7 1/4 mile @ Tarlton which is pretty OK if you ask me by Tarlton standards!

Honestly, I don't know anyone in an E46///M3 who chiplogic, but guys like George Smooth can maybe help!
Or call them and see what they offer.

if u want a worthwhile opinion, u would need someone who has actually tried both tunes on the same car.. I doubt that person exists on this forum.
And there is more to it than just getting the highest number on a dyno.

@M///Pow3r As AryM said its a matter of personal preference. There is only so much magic you can do with a combustion engine and being such a old car both the tuners you mentioned probably got it rapped up. On another not you mention in the excede forum that you got software and exhaust. Just for your info software and a chip is the same thing.


Chiplogic will be running their CSL and a E46 M3 at ODI soon with full street trim so will be nice to see them out on the track again.

not causing a fight here, but I got 8kw more out of my car doing the DASTEK uniQ chip after i had CHIPLOGIC software on the car, 1/4mile times came down aswell.. O.B and i get along very well, awesome guys! but i feel my car is finer tuned with the dastek chip.. my 2c..

today i did yet another E46 m3 in Cape Town and got a gain of 24kw :thumbsup: No shit we make good power out of these cars!
Customer was also sceptical and needed convincing but once done was very very impressed to say the least! Proof was in the pudding! imp:

Did you make changes to the Vanos using the uniQ?
Is Dricus in Witbank?

yes dricus in witbank, we left the Vanos and cam timing how O.B installed it as i do have shrick in the car! any way i doubt you can regulate the vanos in the range on a E36 3.2 you can select where it opens! the E46 M3 we advance and retard the vanos right through the range! we only tuned the timing and the fueling!

a Tip for tuners.. 13.2-1 AFR does magic on N/A M3's
