If you look in the video you posted it does not reach the 290wkw mark...only 286.8wkw :YesNo:

Can you try converting 390 MECHANICAL or IMPERIAL hp to kilowatts please sir & report back.

Thank you for your time.
Fair enough...if it is imperial or mechanical conversion then its 291wkw.

But dyno at KAR reads metric my friend.

Thank you come again.

Ok then the run it made 291kw must have been 394hp or whatever . Point is we ran it in hp and I recorded it. Then we ran it in KW and I was busy logging. I will go and print the 291kw run next time I'm there

nicely done Sherwin...

the new xdf's avail on the msd 80/81 have opened up a lot more tuning options, I believe the nm was deliberately watered down to save the clutch for the owner, well tuned! props for keeping that in mind...

if you would kindly state the mods and fuel used to achieve this at the reef...

With all those extras, there's no doubt you can make that power.Well done Xcede

Thanks bud. I think his extras are exhaust & filters. But I'll wait for the owner to confirm.

Morning

Extras on car currently is aftermarket cooler, charge pipe, forge DV's, DCI's, AR dp's and xflow exhaust.

Drove car last night on 95 pump and already I can feel a big difference in performance. Really impressed with the smooth power delivery now as I managed to take it to redline in 4th. Private road of course:rollsmile:

Now for some ethanol today and retest again.

Thanks Xcede:ty:

Guys regarding the HP to KW conversion,
1 hp = 0.745699872 kilowatts so 390hp is 290.8kw which i think is safe to say 291kw

Sorry Rommies, your converter chart is wrong :hammerhead:

Yes, the car made that power on the reef with no meth. 50% eth. I reckon the car will make 330wkw at sea-level. Will be dyno'ing one at the coast next week. I will let everyone here know when & where and you guys are free to go inspect the car.
