Xcede F80 M3 Tuning in Durban

We have a project M3 down in Durban, so I decided let's get down there & see what we can push this platform to down at sea-level. The project car has no hardware at the moment, all stock, factory catts etc. Ran it stock at German Spec dyno & got 312kW & 576NM.

Some some tuning & few maps & re-affirmed that sea-level makes a huge difference even on turbo cars. With a custom map got it to 393kw & 759NM! A whopping 81kW & almost 200NM more!

Then, for shits & giggles & because we can, put in some 105RON oxygenated race fuel with 12% eth & decided to make a sea-level race map. Balls to the walls, slightly more aggressive boost profile, fuelling trimmed for race-fuel and timing in the stratosphere. 439kW & 787NM was the result.

Amazing what these engines are capable of!

Incredible! Curious as to what gains you'd get on a Competition Package?

We'll never know :fencelook:

With that amount of power, is there anything that can be done to prevent the dreaded Crank hub failure on the s55?
