If anybody is planning on trading their x5 please pm me to see if we can work something out. I've got a little one on its way and my z4 wont fly any more.

Non-negotiable features:
  • 2010 and newer (face lift)
  • <120k km
  • Will consider any colour other than black
  • Only 18" and 19" rims (no 20" please)
  • I'd look at any model other than 35i.

Big plus points would be if the car is still on maintenance plan, has Bluetooth and a factory fitted tow bar. Ball park I'd want to do around R300k, but would be flexible if the car warrants it.

Forgot to mention, I'm based in Gauteng.

According to what I see on Autotrader, he is close to the ballpark for a private deal. The trade wants R330k and up for a 2010 3.0D with around 100 000km.

I've actually looked at a few LCI's from R300k (not so good) to R350k (one owner, on motor plan and accident free. Not to mention loaded with options). I shiver just thinking of what the original owners got on trade....

As a rule, I don't trust dealers. I'm always worried that they are putting lipstick on a pig for a sale, so I'd much rather buy from a owner that I can look in the eyes. I also tend to keep my cars for a while. So I want to get the right car that I am comfortable with.

Hoping to find someone where we can do a deal that works for both of us. As mentioned before, I'm flexible on pricing if the car warrants it.

Sorry mine is a 2009, the LCi came late 2010 so you get pre and lci 2010

Ye, I've noticed. The pre and LCI versions aren't always that easy to differentiate. Can get confusing. Very few cosmetic differences, but i-drive is always the give away.
