X5 E70 - Lighting upgrade

Howsit guys, 

Been doing some browsing on the webs and don't find much aftermarket lighting options for the E70 X5. Anyways I recently acquired a "poor man's X5" as it does not have factory xenons, but seem to have self levelling projectors nonetheless.

What are the upgrade options for all the exterior lighting front and rear? I'm thinking a Canbus HID kit, LED's for the halo's and canbus HID for the fogs in front. Rear, I want the reverse light and number plate lights upgraded to LED's as well. 

Also where can I buy (plug and play) LCI looking rear lights locally?

Interior lighting options - would like to replace all interior bulbs with LED's as well, but again don't see many options. 

Any advice and recommendations appreciated.

when i was looking at this it was for cosmetic reasons to update the face....saw square bottom headlights instead of round with a different looking indicator section and looked great you'd have to check tech specs.

Saw these as well. It looks very, very nice. Can only find them as a UK import though and they are quite pricey. Many guys are saying it's not worth the price though based on performance of the headlight.

I have an H4 kit which is for factory projectors, un-touched and unused...can test it and see if it works for you

I need to do some more homework but I believe they are H7 for dipped beam, H8 for Halo's and high beam. Not sure of fogs.

Hey bro,

Yes they are H7 but the holder fits that too...if you want to try them no issues. I just got this set collecting dust as I didn't have a use for it when I could not find the bulb size on the wife's IX35 with stock halogen projectors.

Thus far I've replaced the headlamps with canbus H7 LED's as well as fitted H11 Canbus LED's to the fogs. Makes a huge difference in lighting performance over stock and looks 10x better aesthetically as well. The LED's work well in the stock projector housing and the look is very much OEM.

Now can't seem to find H1 Canbus LED for the high beam and the angel eye replacement LED's. 

Also looking for a set of rear inner tailgate lights.

Any luck with the angel eyes, I'm hunting for a set coz my oem set burnt out.
