Its a common complaint on the E70.

Adjustment of the lower panel latches and lubrication of the rubber seals will cure the problem.

Hi Andre,

Best bet, inspect your mounting hinges...if they look a bit dry, dont apply Q20 to it, as the oil is too thin and will run off over time.

Get yourself a 3 in 1 oil - dont use engine oil or any such...I use it for all squeaks and noises. Apply some to the hinges, where possible. No need to drown the hinges as the 3 in 1 gets in where it needs to.

Try that, if it doesnt remedy the problem, get back to us. I am assuming its an older model X...so wear and tear is due, perhaps even a bit of sand or dust has built up(this can be blown out with some air,before pplying oil)...Check hinges, oil and let us know what comes of it.
