X5 Air suspension conversion to coil spring

I have a 2003 BMW X5 4.4i. My rear air suspension has collapsed. apparently this is a common problem in this vehicle. many have advised to convert from the air suspension to the coil springs suspension. What is your Folks take / view on this matter? kindly also recommend someone who does such conversions. Many thanks!!

I have seen this discussion/conversion on the American forums (i think Bimmerforum for one). Was a while back and cannot recall where and when so a little bit of searching will have to be done.

I can provide the parts but you also need to reprogram to make the electronics happy...
