Hi Guys.
I just need some guidance here. I need to replace my shocks on my E83. 2.0d what are good replacements.
I have a quote for about R6.9k on a pair of Billsteins?
R4.9k from ZF for SACHS?
are there any other options maybe H&R?
Is the pricing good and also is SACHS a good make for a OEM replacement?

Also where can I find control arm bushes replacements BMW dealers are killing me
Thanks

Speak to Moranor for another quote.

Sachs is the BMW OEM supplier, so you're good to go with them. Bilstein is a good German-made upgrade depending on your need.

So what is the differcence between B4, B6 and Sachs
the Msport has a bit of a bumpy ride - but is that because of the shocks or the coils
Also i do a bit of Gravel travel and use the Xdrive system what will be the better shock for that?

Hi to all in the android forums,I have just been using a mobile phone for 3-4 years and have stuck with android phones and tablets about 2•5 years and sold my nexus5 phone cheap to a nephew,I was using it a year, but I seen the main android phones the past year, the LGG3 Nexus 6, and the moto X 2014 pure edition, the 32 or 64 GB Moto X,so now I am using my LG G3 about 8 days and its great, like the LGG2 phone I bought new sim free unlocked 32 GB LTE 4G,I will hang on to my G3 for a few months and its good as it is so far I will keep it!

So I bought my SACHS shocks from ACMC automotive in Pta West
Bought Front and Rear shock for R4730
Installation costed my R1370
So R6100 and my X3 really feels planted on the road
no one told me putting in the rear shocks would be such a mission , you basically have to take out all the trim in the boot. but hey worth it I suppose
Cheers

I also replaced the shocks on my wife's X3 last weekend.

You would think that the clever Germans could have designed two flaps in the trim panels through which the 3 bolts on the rear shock towers can be accessed. But nooo, ze entire interior trim in ze rear must be disassembled!:RedNo:

It took me 3 hours to get all the trim removed, then 10 minutes to replace the actual rear dampers.

I might have to write BMW an angry email about this.
