X3 2010 - Keys not charging

Hi Guys 

I have a 2010 X3 2.0 sportpack in mint condition. 
I am the second owner of the car and recently started having issues with the keys. 
The old keys batt died and had to get new keys. But it's seems as if the keys doesn't keep charge to the batteries.
As it worked for about a week and now having the same issue, with new batteries installed.

Any advise on what the problem could be.
