Whichever X model you have, it IS very capable of going through Baviaans, a reknown very scenic kloof in the Cape, not far from port Elizabeth.......during a recent media launch these 3 vehicles were used as support, driven by very competent people, but they made it through totally unscathed. The X1 took a bit of stress, but still made it, the X3 and X5 breezed through......so, to all those X owners that believe they are only good for Sandton speed humps, think again, they CAN do the job.......

I agree completely!!
The X range is quite decent offroad.
I have taken mines where many people in their Xs and MLs turned back..
The only problem is the low entry and exit heights, the plastic bumpers and the tires.

The X3 is pretty competent but it is not a dedicated offroader...

But can take on challenges within reason...:thumbs:

They are capable indeed :thumbs:

They can be quite uncomfortable if specced as sport package though.
