Hey guys. Had to post these pics. Doing some home improvements and had to load about 20 sqm of slate tiles with the x1. Must say it looks pretty slick.

Isn't the whole point of an X1 to have slightly higher ground clearance? :fencelook:

Asking for a friend.

Different strokes for different folks. Its probably the same reason someone can buy a R5million car and still find things they like to change. Some want to different, unique and not the same as the flock.

IMO, a mild drop on a SUV (that does not see offroad) looks good. In my case, the X1 does not see bad offroad terrain (corrugated roads to guest houses and spas yes), neither does it climb pavements and really does not go through what others might put their SUV's through.

So how was the drive with so much weight in the car? This is the question - did the Diesel torque bring it to the party?

look any dropped car looks good but can you imagine having your X1 dropped that low and then putting in your 20 sqm of slate? :biglol:

we wont be talking about that then :smilebounce::smilebounce:

But you guys is right opinion each his own and different strokes for different fokes

but it looks different now

:roflol::roflol: Thanks Gents but I am in no way even considering lowering the car (+1 thou for your quick spirited thinking). Just wanted to show you guys what it can look like

The ride was less than 10 kms and the wife was the driver and go fetch person :) for the weekend so if she didnt complain im sure the ride was ok.

Happy to say the X1 is restored back to OEM spec :thumbs:
