One of the main reasons I'm keeping the back box stock is so that the sound isn't completely over bearing,and my true belief is that ze Germans know how to make stuff so the down pipes and back box are perfectly engineered for the car. Also, this is easier on the budget....:rollsmile:

While I agree with you, the OEM mod just amplifies the stock sound. No droning, no booming etc. Sounds very good.

If they build it.....I will come....:roflol: I will get there with a full system eventually. The x-pipe is phase 1, the software is phase 2 and then a full exhaust system will be phase 3.
Unfortunately my accountant (also known as my wife) will cut the proverbial off if I did all that in one go.......:fencelook:

I know.....especially with sharp knives lying around the house......:rollsmile::rollsmile: However,she DID give me permission for the software to be done :joy:

I am very excited about phase 1, just need to know when it's here so I can go get it done already! I'm not the most patient person at the best of times!:roflol:

Bugger how many silencers you going with? Mine came with 4 and two rear boxes, i ended up removing 2 silencers so i have 2 left with the rear boxes, thinking of taking those out as well :fencelook:

Post it DT!! I am very keen to hear it! I think mine has 2 silencers if I am not mistaken. Honestly,I ordered it so long ago I can't remember what I asked for!!

Demon- easy now.... The M comes with, piece 1- extractor pipes or branches as they are comminly known, then , piece 2 -primaries, resonators , secondaries and piece 3 are the mufflers ( your back boxes )
Are you saying that you have , on piece 2, just the resonators which u want to remove and finally the back mufflers too.
Piece 2 is where the restrictions come in due the cats....removing mufflers won't provide any gains , just noise.
You might as well take the pipes out the side of the car, behind the front wheels then.

DT,I can understand your concern,I've heard the same things..... I am not necessarily looking for noise,it's the additional gains,although a nice growl is definitely something I am not going to enjoy!
