Sorry bout your loss my man, i gues the type of car being a bmw you were driving helped a lot in your case ie, control and passenger protection.

Heavy days! Glad everyone is ok... This is really unsettling because I drive that way to work everyday and I know that place where they cross over... I'll be keeping a close eye on that from now on.

This is a unpleasant experience but there will be an upside, a lessons learnt and a story to tell. Main thing is that you and your girlfriend weren't injured.

Ag no man! Irritates me that the moment the roads are wet the world of stupidity takes to the roads! Had a seemingly blind woman drive out in front of me at a four way stop! Luckily I was able to stop in time as she realised her mistake and slammed on anchors - then stalled her Jeep whatever it was.

So glad to hear that you are both okay - if your girlfriend is complaining about whiplash that needs to be looked at ASAP! My Wife had someone try and park their work's Isuzu bakkie into the back of my ex-Rolla some years ago and is still suffering today from the whiplash! But her case was quite bad being a rear end accident and she saw the accident as it was unfolding so had tensed up before the collision - and you guessed it, also wet roads! Was across from HiQ in Belleville at the robot when this happened.

Hope your insurance nails that guy without mercy!

Thanks guys...both feeling a little less sore today.

@ ekseniks...if you know that spot...take a look today, you will see the tyre marks in the grass as well as my radiator fan and a few other bits and pieces.

Testing a 02 model 320d today...will keep you all posted.

Thanks again for the well wishes from everyone.
