Just finished writing a paper in matric cant remember what paper exactly went over to my buddies house to go chill and talk about the paper then he opened the door with a sad look on his face and said I must come see this,

that was just after the first plane hit we were glued to the screen and to our amazement and horror another plane hit live on TV, I was thinking what is going on. then the cherry on the cake was watching the buildings collapse the only words I could say was YOH :thumbdo:

Never suspected a terrorist attack. even talking and thinking about it now is still surreal and even more surreal is the fact that that happened a decade ago,

Was driving home and heard it on the radio in town traffic. The weather was warm, and I remember other motorists were sitting in their cars listening to the same reports. Instead I went to my folks, and watched it on tv with them. Was shocking, my mom loves New York, has many friends there, and was just sitting on her bed holding her face while staring at the tv. The phone kept ringing with her friends wanting to know if the friends in NY were ok. Thankfully, they all were. Religion + Politics = War!
