Are these 318's not troublesome?
I'm actually in the market for an e46 individual but I have ruled out the 318's besides the fact thats its slow :fencelook:
and i'm sure the 320i would be lighter on fuel?

What sort of mileage, year model and specs you looking at?
I'm on the classifieds daily trying to find mine so if I come across something that meets your needs all pass the info on

Still love the E46's.

Maybe look at a facelift E46 320i. Its a straight six and no too bad on fuel.

Really enjoyed mine. A very refined engine that was.

I don't think they were troublesome. I had a 2004 318i with the N46 motor, absolute pleasure to own.

It was slow though and the engine lacked that "BMW sound"

Charlton, for that I would seriously consider a small car like the Kia Picanto or something like that... a small engine city runner.
