Yes I know its a 318i. Yes its not fast, I dont need it to be fast. Looking for a new daily. Yes a 325i is better, but also more expensive.

I'm actually in the market for an e46 individual but I have ruled out the 318's besides the fact thats its slow :fencelook:
and i'm sure the 320i would be lighter on fuel?

there was the N42 and later on facelift the n44 if I remember correctly. The n44 was the better one.

Still love the E46's.

Maybe look at a facelift E46 320i. Its a straight six and no too bad on fuel.

Really enjoyed mine. A very refined engine that was.

I don't think they were troublesome. I had a 2004 318i with the N46 motor, absolute pleasure to own.

It was slow though and the engine lacked that "BMW sound"
