I have got the Haynes BMW 3-series '99 thru '05 listed here. Got mine cheaper through Kalahari.net.
This print is average imo - not detailed enough with tips etc.
Perhaps I just expected more from an autobook.
Print is "softcover telephone book style".
It still contains handy information for the keen DIY'er such as wiring diagrams etc.

The Bentley manual looks better, from the extracts I have seen, but who wants to fork out more the 1000 bucks for an autobook?
Then again I suppose it will pay itself in good time.

And add an old digital compact for an odd greasy pic or two. Next time round the 30 minutes DIY only takes 10 minutes. :)

You can always use a printer to make a hard copy ?!
