Ok so i see Goldwagen is selling this new brand. Wolf Engine Oil.

And its Very cheap. +-R200 for a 5L.

I know of a few mechanics who switched to this brand, Some because its Cheap and they want to save on expenses and others(most), cause they give it a Very good review.

Anyone used this before???
Goldwagen sells out on these oils FAST!!

Im a Die-hard Shell Helix Customer but would be good to know or get some information on this new brand

When I spoke to the guys at my local branch, they said they would be phasing our other oils and selling Wolf exclusively.

Apparently it is used extensively in Europe (any maybe a racing series or two?) and gets very positive reviews that side of the world.

They tried selling this to me aswell but I wasnt really convinced these are the same people who call "topran" a quality German replacement... we know how shit those parts are

I feel oil can either make or break an engine, even if WOLF has the same properties and spec as some of the other more popular oils i would still stick with Shell oil and know what im getting but thats me. Its not like im using alot of oil so that few extra hundreds spent on the Shell oil gives me peace of mind, but as i say thats just my personal feeling on it.

WRC Promoter has signed a long-term agreement with independent lubricant specialist Wolf to be the next premium partner of the FIA World Rally Championship.

From the start of 2019, the Belgian producer will become the WRC’s Official Lubricant Partner, introducing its Wolf oils for the first time to the world’s most prestigious motorsport series for production-based cars.

Wolf announced the partnership at the 25th anniversary Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt, one of the most important shows in the world for the automotive service industry.

The Antwerp-based company was founded in 1955 and has become a leading name in the industry.

It specialises in tailored, technology-enhanced lubricants, meeting and often exceeding latest industry standards and specifications, which is why they are approved by the world’s leading car manufacturers.

Wolf produces oils and fluids for engines, transmission, brakes and steering. It has a wide product range, including cars, heavy duty vehicles, motorcycles, marine and agricultural machinery.

As an official championship partner, Wolf will enjoy prominent TV-relevant branding stage-side at all championship rounds.
Wolf CEO Nicolas Verellen tests his skills on the WRC‘s official video game, WRC 7

It will activate its partnership with a permanent presence in the WRC service park around the globe, establishing a platform to provide information and assistance to fans and customers in choosing the most suitable lubrication solutions.

WRC Promoter managing director Oliver Ciesla welcomed Wolf to the championship and said: “I’m excited Wolf has joined the WRC’s growing portfolio of premium partners.

“Lubricants are an essential part of motorsport and it’s gratifying to bring a leading independent player onboard, especially one with such innovative, focused and forward-looking strategies in its field.

“Both Wolf and the WRC share the same objective to globally grow their awareness and popularity,” added Ciesla.

Wolf’s global marketing director, Frédéric Decroix, said the company was proud to be associated with the WRC and its millions of global fans.

“The FIA World Rally Championship is a partner that sets the benchmark in high performance rallying, with drivers who take their vehicles to the very limits, testing their engines to the extremes.

“The announcement of this new partnership builds on the brand’s continuous international growth and rings in the next phase of its global development.

“With Wolf’s drive for exceptional engineering and precision in everything we do, we’ll be able to bring our story closer to motorsport fans and driving enthusiasts all over the world,” added Decroix.
