Everything becomes Icons and legends (if it's an M). Especially considering they will be the last v8 Coupe's of M3
I gotta disagree on that statement. Little kids point and stare at a 325iS when it drives passed. They weren't around when they car was released and they weren't around when production ended, but they still find the car fascinating. To the point they even come up and start asking questions.
I am not talking about today, I am talking about when the e92 reaches a E30's age. Little kids point at horses and donkeys as well, but doesn't make it a legend..

To be honest, it's a beautiful car, especially yours. But a E92 M3 makes me drool. That's just my 2c

Fordkoppie said:Never. Simply because there will not be any running ones left when it reaches the e30's current age.
The idiot dealers are not even able to correct anything wrong atm even with all their latest equipment.
So what will happen to the poor individual that will still be stuck with an e90 in 30 years when all the equipment to diagnose and repair became obsolete? All the people who knew something about them has died or retired by that time.
Your average Joe will not be able to keep this car going.

And your pioneering technology focus is on recycling rather than everlasting so they can sell you a new model in 5 year's time. In short -> money
Simply put - there will be NO future classics. Only the existing ones
if you cant see this, then I am sure you still believe in the toothfairy
