I was in York today... The same town which the Hamster crashed that jet dragster some years back when I get a call from my wife saying " I've been in an accident"... SHE'S FINE, but shaken up.
A 70 yr old swiped the tail end of the car and pushed it into the barriers.

Thanks for the messages guys... She's fine and asleep now.
Was told by a copper that fortunately for her it was a larger stronger car.

Thanks again

Glad your wifes fine.

I don't think its written off since the airbags dont look like they deployed. Also because I wrote my previous pre-lci off and the damage was significantly worse than that and I got the insurance company to do the work at the most expensive but also the best bodyshop in the town. And it was just over the cutoff the insurance assessor was allowed if it were to be repaired. Although with the price of labor over there. It might be.

And hows that crack in the rim!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping for a cat D classification - damaged repairable.
This car is no longer a 1 lady owner car- it's now an accident damaged/ repaired vehicle and that has an impact on resale.

If repaired then its going to the BMW workshop and if written off the E70 m sports on its way
Just the damn inconvenience of it all

Re airbags.... That's an interesting one- this was a side/ corner impact an woul have deployed airbag, but as we take our 2yr old about , I switched if the passenger airbag.
Do they deploy individually or independently - I'm not sure
