R u guys afraid of coming out of the closet :mmm:

Anyway, let me break the ice. I own 2 BM's (X5 and 525i). However, later in the year I want to get rid of the 525i and purchase a Mini Cooper S - the previous supercharged one (2001 - 2006).

So, I'll be scanning this forum soon for some useful info.

Now you are talking! The R53's are far better looking than the new turbocharged versions. I'm sure you will love it!

I don't know what all this "homosexual" stereotyping is for. I have a Mini and I'm proud to drive it around. It's the best feeling in the world when someone in an S3 wants to give it a go and you blast past him in the gay hairdresser's car. Made my modifications very worthwhile :)

Mike you're only a homosexual when you pick up the keys to a Smart Car :)

There is nothing homosexual about a Cooper S Hairdresser car.. I know a bloke with a Porsche 911 Turbo Techart (Thats 450kw) and he loves driving his wifes Cooper S.

My youngest brother wrote off a 2003 Cooper S, but when it was still on the road, I took it for a few runs. Only mod was a powerflow exhaust system. Made one moer of a difference. That thing corners like it's on rails.

But my experience with Mini is well... Mini-mum to say the least, so I'll keep my trap shut.

They are truly amazing little cars.. just last week I thought I had a flat tire and it was actually just a mini cooper stuck in my wheel arch.. I could actually hear the queen driving the car saying "Helooooo, I'm stuck in here darling!"

So I got out my wheel spanner and managed to lever the car out from behind the coilovers... amazingly enough the car was pretty much hundreds and the guy driving it tried to get my number...

I KNOW!!!! I haven't been able to get that blimmen ST out of there for ages... I've eventually given up... I just shove a McDonalds box and a copy of BoyRacR up there every few days and the dude stuck in there seems to be ok... probably cause he's never had his car travel so fast... I guess being stuck in Jezzy's wheel arch is a small price to pay for being the fastest ST in South Africa.. mwahahahaha!!!
