you cant just quickly bend one pipe because it will cost you too much in steup time... then you have to invest in a production run... depending on the car you may have stock that sits for a while before you recoup the money invested...
why does it need to be mandrel bent surely it would be ok to use off the shelf bends (45° or 90°) and cut them to suit. Yes its more labor intensive (more welding) but you get rid of that expensive bending machines labor cost.
So yeah I also agree people want to rip us off :thumbdo: not cool
