Who has CSL replicas?

Does anyone have 18" CSL reps or CSL style wheels on their cars?

I'm considering get a set but I'd like know if there are any good quality ones available locally before I have to import a set. I've seen on other forums that there are a few manufactured in the US and a CSL style wheel from Breyton.

All the manufacturers have different widths and offsets so i'm not sure yet what would be ideal for an E82.

So if anyone has a set on their car I'd like to know what make you went with, size, quality and fit.

Thanks

I would seriously stay away from 18" CSL reps, they look pants IMO. The 19's however

Fatboy.... There isn't a CSL rep that fits perfectly on the e82
The offsets required for your car are too high
So if you really want that wheel, you wont be able to fit staggered, unless you're going to do some serious rolling of the rear fenders
Even with 19x8.5 et 40 all round, it will be very tight
And you also won't be able to lower the car

The widest you can go in 19s on your car is 19x8 and 19x9 setup with high offsets (maybe 48-52)

Thanks Revo

You're right, I am very weary about using an offset that is very off so that is why I need to be careful. I have had rubbing problems on a previous car and I don't want to have to spend weekend after weekend cutting and rolling arches again, that poor car went through a lot. I even once machined some imported wheels as far as I could go without affecting the structure to get a better offset.

I'm trying not to go for 19s because I want to use the 18s runflats I have on at the moment. So wheel width is very important right now as well.

The tyres will allow me to go up to 7.5 and 8.5 for front and rear respectively but I don't know if I like that. I see that most of the 18" CSL reps are being made at 7.5 and 8.5. Recently I came across the Breyton wheels which have a CSL style and they make them in 7 and 8 which would be ideal for the tyres but I'm haven't had time to check if the offset will be good.

Next time I'm in Germany or the US I'll check out some wheel places that specialise in BMWs and see if I can come across some nice ones.

if u r set on a csl style wheel, the closest thing to that with the right width and offset for your car, would be forgestar.
Chk them out.. No rubbing, even with a moderate drop.

If u wanna spend more, then we can get a custom set of wheels made to your requirements.
