Whistling 330

wassup peeps

got a very weird problem on my E46 330i. there seems to be a whistling sound coming from the brake booster. the noise goes away when i press the brakes.

checked the vacum pipes leading to the booster...no leaks..wat could the problem be?

torn intake boot. A little tear gets a lot bigger under acceleration.

where is this boot situated? by the throttle body leading towards the filter?

the noise can be clearly heard from teh brake booster though

hmm mayb it is the booster?...ive read bout it being the membrane in the booster itself have a look at this link tho this whistle comes an goes as you apply brakes and release check it out mayb you lucky and its same problem its a cheap fix
