Hats off to all of them, but my vote goes to the E46 without a doubt. All things considered today, it is the best compromise between power+performance, looks and price all rolled into one beautiful package. And you can live with it as a daily or Sunday cruiser raise:

Heart says e30 M3 sports evolutions 2.5, stock standard in epic condition!

I do however recon that the best looking BMW ever made was... the E28....

However again, you left out, the epic... E65 E60, E34, E28....
