Where do you store your hard top?

I'm looking for ideas how to store my Hard top without damaging the rubbers or paint. I thought it may be interesting to see where & how people store their tops.
Post pics if you have
Thanks

Well my friends father is in construction, and he used a few things from his business. Not exactly the best way to do it, but it didn't cost him a cent as he used old ones from his company, and got one of his workers to install it.

Hanging from a pre-installed rail/beam which goes just underneath the garage ceiling, he has a 1ton chain block on a beam crawl, coupled to a "4 legged bracket", which has nylon slings and softeners hanging from it. The nylon slings and softeners are the contact area to the cars roof, and are there to protect the plastic and paint.

So he drives the car in, lifts the hard top up slightly as you would normally, puts the slings and softeners underneath it, and then lifts it upwards and out of the way.

A nice space saver as well, if your garage is high enough.

P.S. His is used for a Jeep Wranglers roof, as well as the roof cargo rack on his Prado.

Ideally the crane/hoist idea as mentioned by gunner

other idea would be a stand as below - could probably have one made locally

I made myself the stand as in Ver328i' 2nd pic.

I used the same dimensions as in the pic, found it on Google somewhere but used "shutterply'' and covered the shutterply with some material that comes with a thin layer of foam on the 1 side and cloth on the other.

Works like a charm, but I use my hardtop for 9-10 months of the year.
