discussion When was the 30d discontinued in SA?

Hey all,

I know that the 30d engine has been discontinued for some models in SA, however when was this effect from?
I am particularly interested for the 3 series (G20) and 5 series (G30).

I could be wrong, but I think they kept the 30d in the X series for longer and possibly still offer it in the X5 and X7?

I tried to Google to find the info but couldn't come across it.

Was it not discontinued with the G30 LCI which was mid 2019 if I am not mistaken?

I think the G20 LCI was mid 2022 I believe. Did they keep the 30d for longer in the G20?

AFAIK, the G20 30d was discontinued sometime in 2020.

I have a 2021 330d with a 2020 build date...
So I'm guessing 2020 would be the last for the G20's

Thanks guys, I had an epiphany moment and decided to call BMW Midrand and the sales person said they were discontinued in 2021 (I specifically asked for G30) so I guess the last of them were 2020 models.
So a few LCI 530d's might be available and coming out of plan in 2025 only, unless they stopped it before the LCI.

G20 seems they'd all be Pre-LCI models.
