Hey guys.

Need to give the CSl's a propper clean for a change.

Can anyone suggest a good readily available mag cleaner??

Jaaaaa..... I'm not looking forward to that part at all :yuck:

If you have a pressure sprayer like a karcher etc spray the rim first loosen all the dirt then use whatever hands free cleaner leave for a couple of minutes and then spray off and clean the remainder where it is nasty.

I currently use prepsol, but it's as if it leaves a residue that likes to attract brake dust....

But then, I don't polish the rim afterwards.... :idea:

+1 on clean green, but then my mags never really get very dirty.

Rinse with hose, then spray on some Prepsol. Wash. Prepsol again, Wash. Then Meguires Hot Rim cleaner

I cant justify spending so much money on a wheel cleaner like meguires etc etc, cleangleen works good enough and doesn't damage anything:thumbdo:

Most of the rim cleaners are unnecessary in my opinion.

Even the hot rims by meguirs I don't find helpful. I now just use whatever car wash shampoo, a rag and sometimes a brush for corners or hard to reach places.

The Megs is acidic.
