Have your control arm bushes checked (major flaw of the e46). I have 18" on my e46 and everytime i did allignment it only lasted a short while. Changed the bushes in November , and tyre wear is slightly better.

In that case as far as i know, when your allignment is done they set it so it doesnt wear that way, They set your camber, toes, etc.

Different guys have different allignment machines. I only give mine to my local Tiger wheel. they set the allignment take it for a test, and then check again and finally centre the steering.

My suggestion take it to them and get you allignment checked, maybe it wasnt done right.

The other option is to put on your set of original wheels (17s?) and get the alignment done and check that the car drives fine - then put the 19s back on - maybe the offset is too aggressive on the 19s

This is what I would do, if the problem persist.:thinker:

HMM.. since the OD shouldn't change on different rims the problem could be offset or toe in / out.

Is there excessive road noise?

Also are you running stock suspension or have you lowered at all?

The width of the rim shouldn't be an issue unless you are rubbing the arches...

so

1. what's the offest on those 19's (I'm running 19s no issues)
2. have you changed any suspension?
3. What PSI are you running (you could be over/under pressure)
4. do you drive like a tosspot?

HAHAHAHA TOSSPOT????...Not really hey......

1. what's the offest on those 19's...Im not sure but they are damn wide. Came of an m3...But the tires do catch the fender abit if i hit a bump or sumthing.....

2. have you changed any suspension? Stock Suspension nothing changed...But im sure the individual has a 20mm drop standard....??

3. What PSI are you running (you could be over/under pressure)...2.4 all round. 225/13 front....235/35 rear......
