What's the most difficult Bmw MAGS to WASH?

I think the BBS type basket weave mags are a pain, each one has like 20-30 little triangles you have to clean inside.

540i BBS basketweaves/Style 5s are the worst in the world. Those E46 wheels are easy by comparison...

I was going to say the old 16" E39 528i rims which have those thin groves between the many spokes, but the M3 wheels above must be a nightmare - basically any wheel that has thin tight spaces, and lots of them!

Interestingly I find that my new wheels are not as easy to clean as my original wheels - the five V-spoke design is what makes it a bit tricky, but I think it's more to do with the condition of these wheels that makes it tricky. Lots of burnt on brake dust and contamination that needs to be removed.

The old 330i wheels are also ten spokes, but very easy to work with and since there are no or few "edges" it is very straight forward to clean - paint work is in good condition and kept clean which helps a lot!!!

Uumm, I recently fitted these and YES! They are a b!$ch to keep clean! Love them, but beginning to regret getting them.

The thing with wheels, the more often you clean them the easier it is to keep them in good condition and as such easy to clean...

+1 on the M3 wheels and the e30 bottle caps.

Yep, those E30 wheels (also similar design for the E36) look to be pretty tricky to clean - the old 350SE Merc that my dad had did have a very similar design and I remember it was always a pain to get in to every little nook and cranny! :nonono:

Yeah it would be pretty hell to clean tight spaces with 90 degree bends in them, so hard to get into the corners, unless you have nice small brushes.
