cant listen to voice notes through the speakers if its connected to the cars Bluetooth

That's weird.

iOS I assume?

You have to choose your audio device to be your phone then it will play. If you listening to radio or usb, it wont play. ,

2008 LCI E60 530d. 1: There is a strange "knock" on the dashboard when the aircon has been on for a while. 2: Shocks cost 15k.

  • The way the indicators work - No wonder BM drivers don't use their indicators. So easy to 'over-cancel'.
  • The fact that there is no cruise control symbol to show that it is active.
  • That one can't see the range estimate (between the dials) once the fuel reserve warning has activated.
  • That you need turn on the auto wipers after each restart???
  • The pitiful range of the Bluetooth

I have 2x e90's
with both cars the boot and bonnet shocks don't hold anymore.
Had the hood fall on my head when they still sort of worked, now I use a stick to hold the hood up.

The shocks are a cheap replacement from Goldwagen

There is a noise from the climate control fan that you can hear even with the car switched off. Goes on for about 10 to 15 mins. Probably bearings or dirt and not sure how to strip the dash to get to it.

Workaround - roll the little rubber toggle thingy down once and press it...skips to the next tune. Or roll it up and go back a few songs.

My wife's new Honda Jazz came with a great long whip aerial that would hang up on the garage door when you pull out. I replaced it with a much shorter one from Autozone this morning. Radio reception does not seem to be affected.

Also, there is no water temperature gauge. When the car is cold, you get a blue warning light. It goes away once the engine warms up, usually a block or two from home. I suppose there is a red light for when it gets too hot, but I will have to read the manual to confirm that.

Let's just say years of BMW ownership has made both of us hyper sensitive to little warning lights telling you things about the cooling system, hehehe.

Mine... e46 Touring front window regulators which are as flimsy as a single sheet of toilet paper

X3 (F25) - There is a rattle in either the passenger side door or the cubbyhole dash area. Cannot trace it.

X1 (F48) - The way the Cruise Control works on the newer steering wheel. In my F25, the Cruise Control is activated with the bottom left button. In the F48 it is the top left button. I have to swivel my hand / joint to enable it and it is very uncomfortable. And why would they put LIM on the steering wheel. I have never used it.

2 things on my F30 Msport.

1 being the nasty shine on the steering wheel, I tried a few things to give it a nice matte finish but the shine came back a short while after and the other being the start/stop as mentioned in this thread.

Where did you get the steering cover if I may ask? I have also fitted a similiar one but I am not happy with the fit and feel and it took 6 hours to do.

If I open the drivers door while the engine is running and seat belt on, the handbrake comes on automatically.

If I open the drivers door while the engine is running and seat belt is off, the engine switches off automatically. Checked both times with STOP/START on and off and still does the same thing.

Audi system is backwards. Clockwise goes up ad anti clockwise goes down... WHY?

Also F**k CVT gearboxes.
