Hi Guys


Whats your thoughts on the below car. Something seems strange with the speaker housing and there is something in the seat belt clasp.

Apparently in 2011 the M plan started but the car is 2012 registered. Dealer seems clueless. No comments apparently. Anyone owned this car or knows anything about it. I am keen to view it but if anybody knows something is wrong with it then i will stay away.

BTW what is the cost to renew M plan for another year on a M3?

Could have been a BMW staff member car,they usually give them back then sold as demo models so the car only gets registered later on.

also a lot of cars bought close to the end of the year, only gets registered beginning of the next year.

Yea the registration could have been delayed until 2012 if it was purchased in late 2011..

Ask BMW for the cost of a time extension on motor plan. Mileage extensions on motor plans will be unreasonably expensive.

Car looks awesome!! Air bag warning light on and vehicle is running so just check the reason, could just be a faulty sensor but check it out.

What also happens is cars are loaded on m/plan and reported to BMW SA as a sale to reach targets even though the vehicle hasn't actually been sold, called pre-loading. Dealer then hopes and is most of the time certain that the car will be sold in the next month but that doesn't always happen.

Friend went to look at it. Exhaust modded and also some ECU tweaking, and the car gave him the impression it has hard a hard life. He drives a E90 M daily so he could give back to back impressions.

Called BMW apparently it passed quality check. after the exhaust was removed. It does seem to have some issues.

On our 2010 e92 was 21k for another year. Mileage was 75k.

The exhaust protrudes way too far out the back for a stock system.

It probably had something else on, the std system was lost/sold and when the guy wanted to sell, he fitted the next best thing from a coupe e92 M3.

The e92 system is taller than the e90 one.

The speaker covers are OEM. Its the optional HK system
