Update:
So I have had enough of this and made the call to buy another car. They could not find me another X5 and the new ones only arrive 22 May something and I need to make a call before 11 May according to MIOSA. if I don't take that offer they will then workout another trade value and then I loose more. If I booked an X5 that is still on the ship I need to return the courtesy car until they release off the ship and the PDI and what what so I could not be without a car that long. So before they raped me anymore I pulled the trigger and took a X7 M60i in Mineral white. I like the white, so hopefully this week coming i will get a call to collect the new set of wheels.
Hope this all works out well with the X7.

Nice!

Best decision made. If you getting a high end luxury car, you got to get the last number 🤪

Blacked out parts on a mineral white X7 is sick😎

Just a quick update. Took delivery on Friday afternoon late. Have not had time to take many pics but here is a teaser.

Mineral White M60i. So far got two small issues. When the did the tint the guys doing it did not put the passenger door tweeter back properly AGAIN, exactly the same mess on the X5. and second row of seats have a little red ribbon and the drivers side screw cam out of the ribbon. Not a train smash but cant find the bloody screw. Going back next week to get those two sorted out. Other than that she is going well, just need another 280km to go until full power is allowed.

That’s a machine. Congrats.

I’m curious what made you go for the x7 over the x5?

Thanks everyone. Took her on her first "long" 480km trip yesterday first time out on the highway. Did not have full power until my drive back home but wow when it gave me full power I gave it full beans and holy mother. I did not know 2.6 odd tons could move like it does.

Its soooooooo much more comfortable than the X5, the same road i normally travel felt like a runway in the X7 compared to the X5 so very very happy. Just one small note, The M50d was damn quick for its size but at 130km/h it was very very frugal about 14km/l , the M60i not so much  8.7km/l. Yes I know driving a car like this you should not complain but I get a company fuel card and they do complain unfortunately and with me driving almost 40k per year its a massive difference.
