What would be your dream daily driver?

the problem with a daily driver is that it can get knocked or stolen, so it should sort of be like a disposable car.

so I would go with the 333i.

If I was certain the car wouldn't get knocked or stolen, I would go for an e30 M3.

I would like a 2010 BMW 760 i with a decent drop 22' wheels and a
mild remap not to forget just the downpipes decatted...would not
want it to loud.

I think the 333i came with an option of wither aircon or power steering, not both, as BMW couldnt fit both in with the bigger engine. Wouldnt work for me as a DD.

+1 on the 760s.

One difference though, I would like to be driven and not drive. Preferably, with one X6 ///M in front to clear the way and one in the back to keep things safe. Blue lights on all the cars would work as well ... :)

I disagree with you guys... :mmm:

I had the privilege of driving the previous 760Li. I was so excited to drive it, and had high expectations. I hate to say it, but it was the saddest 200kms of my life... :bawling: It just felt so disconnected, when you put your foot down, you would accelerate fast but you can't hear the engine. I even opened the window to try and get some aural excitement. It felt so disconnected.

I know this is a range topper of the flagship, but was not driven by it (emotionally). It is definitely a car in which you get driven around in the back. Very comfortable... I suspect on the autobahn at 250km/h, this would feel great. It would feel rather planted and dynamic.

After climbing out of the 7, I climbed into a 650i, and I almost wet myself. That exhaust note is amazing! I would have a 650i as a daily driver, or possibly a 550i if carting kids/more than one passanger regularly. Both these cars are relaxed when you need them to be. And it gets you excited when you wanna drive fast...

Daily drive doesn't need to excite . It needs to be comfortable , economical and easy to drive . As such a x5 3.0d would get the nod

I donno about the uninvolved drive.

I have never driven a 760iL, but I find even my 730d to have that "something"

That car is so well insultated, so yea its quite, but take on the twisties and you get that direct feeling on the steering wheel you can only get from a BMW, and I find it hugely responsive and agile for such a big car,

I also find it exceptionally smooth, and confidence inspring, I often find myself doing like 160 where I really shouldnt be, but feel confident in the vehicle, I drive it way faster then I drive the E34.

ANd I have to say that the E65 is a far more involved drive then a W203 C270 Merc with similar power. So for me, the perfect garage would be.

I will own a 760 or a 760iL within the next 5 years....
