I visit JHB traffic only 4 times or so a month, and my biggest peeve in general, across any brand is the use or actually non use of indicators. It astounds me how people drive with no indicators. The float across lanes, turn with no thought for people behind or near them.

I sometimes want to just clobber the idiots. That and cellphones, worst is that these are people in expensive cars that either come fitted with Bluetooth or have the financial means to install hands free kits, for which a good one like Parrot is around R1000-1500.

The combination persons are even worse, changing lanes etc with a crooked neck holding phone in place...MORONS

Most idiots I see are Golf drivers (young and old).
Just last week I saw the biggest idiot, weaving in and out of traffic across ALL the lanes in a Merc C-Class

I've seen all sorts making u turns on highways and busy main roads and it's usually some "little" car. People think because they're cars are small it's "light and nimble". It isn't. Just changing lane "quick" or making a u turn "quick" doesn't exist in the world of cars. Kids should be taught the dangers of cars and what a vehicle of 1.5 tons is actually capable of. Maybe then people will start to have more respect for cars.
