Hey
I have R250k to spend on a car. I am so torn on what to get. I always said when this day came i would get me an E36 M3. But now, just having returned from a visit home, my choice is now even harder. I have always had a soft spot for Ford Sierra XR6 as i owned one many years ago. A friend of mine is selling his that he had for the past 31 yrs as a first owner. Its always been garaged and in pristine condition.
But on the other hand we have the following cars thrown in the mix to make it even more confusing. I saw a few E46 M3 in that price range. Not sure if they have been flogged out, but having owned an E46, i am weary about the whole rear suspension issue and maintenance costs. Then we have the E92 335i. Man that car also sets me off. Then we have the Mk2 Ford Escort 1600 Sport, Mazda Cappella Rotary, VW 2.5 Caravelle Kombi - all which i would have to import. Why must it be so hard.
My other dream ever since i have set foot here in Aus, was to own a V8. They were far and few between back those years at home and always wished to own one.
The next few weeks are going to be extremely difficult....
Any ideas and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
