what size exhaust ????

hi guys

i wanna fit an exhaust system on my car but i'm not sure what size i should fit.

the guy at the exhaust shop said i should fit a 50mm but i think that would be too small.

i think 57mm or 63mm considering that it is a 2l but i am unsure.

what do you guys suggest?

my 2 mates with E36 M's put some on there cars, sounds awesome!

Ive got a TNT decat exhaust on my car and it sounds sweet!! I went for duel 63mm!! 50mm is for cherry qq3's and daewoo matiz's!

TNT will sort you out with the best! they have years of experience and exhaust size can make a big difference in performance!!!

I take it you have a 318ti?

I wouldnt go any bigger than 50mil on that car because you will loose torque and your car will feel slup.

Just my opion though.

I have TNT systems on both my cars. The 528 has a branches into twin 57 into single 63 back into twin 57. The turbo 328 has a 76 with 2 small boxes. Both sound great and both make moechou power.

Speak to Tom from TNT he knows his stuff. His pipe on the 528 gave me 13 wheel Kw.

yes i do have a 318ti....

i agree that a big exhaust will cause the car to lose compression but i think 50mm is far too small for a 2.0l engine.

everyone here speaks of TnT where are they situated?

has anyone heard of experienced stainless steel in durban.... he quoted me R4600 for a full system and he says i should expect 7-8kw increase in power

he is also a very reputable guy in durban
